Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj gave darshan at Kirpal Bagh in Delhi, India on February 9 and 10. “Many of those assembled sought the spiritual Master’s advice and blessings,” related an attendee from Greece. “Others basked in his spiritual sunshine as he lovingly threaded his way through the aisles of people.”
On February 10, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj blessed the sevadars who had been engaged in various forms of selfless service during the recently concluded 19th International Conference on Human Integration. Praising the loving and diligent efforts of the thousands of volunteers who came from many parts of India, the spiritual Master pointed out that when seva is performed in a selfless and compassionate manner, it brings us many spiritual rewards. It benefits the soul, he said, and has an important place on the spiritual path. He also explained that selfless service should be carried out with love and dedication rather than as an obligation. It is a God-given opportunity to help others, he stated, and brings us closer to our spiritual goal.
On February 11 and 12, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj gave a discourse at Kirpal Bagh and placed the congregation into meditation. During his talk on February 11, he stressed that complete and unshakable faith in God is a prerequisite on the spiritual path. Once we start living according to “Sweet is Thy Will” and develop the conviction that whatever happens is for our very best, he said, we will surely progress toward our spiritual goal.
On February 12, the spiritual Master advised the congregation to rise above outer differences and begin to perceive the underlying oneness between all living beings. God resides within us and cannot be found in the physical world, he emphasized. The only means to connect with God, he said, is through meditation on the divine Light and Sound.
Sant Rajinder Singh Ji gave darshan to a large gathering at Kirpal Bagh on February 13 in the evening and graciously celebrated Valentine’s Day with the Indian and Western sangat at Kirpal Ashram. “The Westerners had decorated Darshan Meditation Hall with colorful streamers, cards, and balloons,” reported an attendee, “and the ambiance was one of cheerful gaiety and festivity.”
“As soon as Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, Mata Harbhajan Kaur Ji, Mata Rita Ji, and Rimjhim Ji entered the hall,” another person recounted, “many people presented them with bouquets and cards. A delightful musical program followed, wherein people from various countries such as Colombia, Canada, and the USA, presented spiritual songs and poems while enjoying the blissful radiance of the spiritual Master.”
Afterward, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj addressed the gathering, explaining that the soul’s true valentine is God who never abandons us. In order to experience God’s profound love, he said, we need to be receptive and keep our attention focused on God throughout the day. This will enable us to absorb God’s grace more and more. The spiritual Master then requested everyone to make a firm resolve to develop receptivity so that God’s love could be experienced in its fullness.
An attendee recounted the following: “The program ended with Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, Mata Harbhajan Kaur Ji, Mata Rita Ji, and Rimjhim Ji cutting the Valentine’s Day cake amidst cheering and applause. The spiritual Master also lovingly blessed and handed slices of cake to those members of the audience whose birthday fell on February 13 & 14. He then made his way through the congregation, showering uplifting glances of love and grace upon all present. After his departure from the hall, cake and chocolate prashad was distributed.”
A vast gathering of thousands greeted Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj at Kirpal Bagh on Sunday, February 14. The spiritual Master spoke about a true lover’s constant yearning for God’s love. He explained that love is the foundation of the entire creation. It is only through treading the path of love that we can reach our True Home. A persistent longing to be one with God will carry us speedily to our goal, he explained, and will aid in our soul’s final merger with the Lord.
